Through our customer service centers in New York and California, we provide coverage 24/7, 365 days a year.Technical Support Specialist - Fire Alarm and Security SystemsAcademy Fire Life Safety is currently seeking a quality, career-mindedTechnical Support Specialist who will be responsible for equipment bench testing, programming, and providing telephone technical support. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality service.Responsibilities include (but not limited too):

Conduct equipment bench testing and programming.

Provide telephone technical support to customers, Academy Fire personnel, and subcontractors.

Deliver exceptional customer service and technical assistance.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Train and mentor team members to develop their skills and leadership abilities.

Multitask effectively in a high-paced environment.

Requirements:

Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Experience in customer service.

Technical background in security or networking fields.

Experience with IP video and programming security panels.

Career-minded with a commitment to quality and excellence.

Strong communication skills.

Hardworking, goal-oriented, and able to lead by example.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in PC skills and related software.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
