Strategic Execution Leader Global Operations

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Strategic Execution Director that will manage a team who is responsible for the execution and implementation of large, complex and undefined strategic programs to support global operations strategies. They will need to work closely with all Operational leaders and functional leaders for the purpose of identifying and establishing key critical business large program strategies, defining and developing roadmap deliverables.In this role, you will:

Lead the execution of key programs with Operations Leaders and advise and influence on key programs.

Manage and develop a centralized team of analysts and associates to deliver moderate to high complexity projects and programs for Operations leaders and internal partners (e.g., career pathing, synergies across Operations, etc.)

Provide thought leadership to develop and implement solutions to complex Operations-wide challenges.

Lead the execution and assessment of the current operational landscape, identifying opportunities, using deep understanding of industry trends, and expand operations effectiveness by setting key strategic priorities and projects across the Operations teams.

Execute and drive new change in business process strategic design

Execute location strategy solutions across domestic Operations over the next several years.

Collaborate and consult with senior level managers and functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives.

Make strategic decisions and execute on key priorities on behalf of Operations. Will need to set direction and influence senior managers.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Strategy and Planning experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

4+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

Strong experience in leading multiple critical strategic priorities

10 + years strong experience in leading and executing multiple critical strategic priorities; driving business outcomes and planning programs across large global operational organizations.

10+ years of direct management experience

8 + year financial services consulting experience

Strong consulting experience transforming, bringing together unstructured large programs and data to drive strategic operations routines and deliverables.

Strong experience leading large scale location strategies across multiple locations, including offshore.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to communicate and interact with executive-level leaders.

Ability to work in an ambiguous and high-paced environment.

Proven leadership with employee engagement, development, and DE&I

Strong collaboration and partnering skills.

Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change.

Ability to create and improve process through strategic thinking.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Job Expectations

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
