Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role requires a well-organized and meticulous individual who will be tasked with processing customer requests, maintaining an accurate record of customer details, and handling customer inquiries. The job function also includes monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit Conduct weekly reviews and reconciliations of job budget accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies Regularly monitor job progress and generate progress invoices for clients, ensuring prompt payment Handle weekly accounts payable processing and check issuance Provide financial analysis and trend reporting at the conclusion of remodeling projects and spearhead the post-project evaluation meeting Carry out payroll processing, including bonus computations and payments, and manage paid time off tracking Reconcile credit card and bank statements on a monthly basis Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts each month Calculate work in progress monthly, recording related journal entries as required Complete month-end financial reporting and analysis by the 15th of every month Assist in the creation of annual budgets and business plans Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct a quarterly new lead analysis Negotiate and maintain company insurance policies and utilities Ensure the registration, maintenance, and insurance of company vehicles Provide minor IT support and work with the team to review and develop procedures Offer feedback and ideas to improve business processes.
