Sr. Compliance Analyst

Description We are seeking a Sr. Compliance Analyst in the healthcare sector, based in Dallas, Texas. This role involves ensuring adherence to privacy regulations and enhancing the integrity of internal controls. You will be responsible for executing corporate privacy work plans, reviewing medical records during privacy investigations, and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.Responsibilities: Execute corporate privacy work plans effectively Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain the integrity of internal controls Recommend improvements in the internal control structure Review medical records during privacy investigations or monitoring activities Ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations including but not limited to the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, Medicare and Medicaid Stay updated with federal and state privacy regulatory requirements Utilize knowledge of audit and investigation techniques in daily tasks Apply knowledge of hospital/clinic operation processes in all activities Apply general healthcare experience with knowledge of hospital/clinic operations, physician services, and health plan requirements in all tasks Ensure compliance with privacy practices, policies, and programs. Requirements Must have proven experience in the field of Compliance Prior work experience in the Healthcare Industry is essential Expertise in conducting Compliance Audits is required Knowledge of Privacy Compliance is a necessity Familiarity with Privacy Policies, Privacy Policy implementation, and Privacy practices is a must Understanding of Privacy Regulations is essential Experience with HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule is mandatory Ability to design and implement Privacy programs is required.
