Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will be part of our team in the manufacturing industry, handling a variety of accounting activities related to the production and distribution of goods within our organization.Responsibilities: Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and balance sheets Oversee the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems Engage in cost accounting activities: including standard cost development, average pricing analysis, margin and variance analysis, and inventory control management Prepare and consolidate financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements Participate in budgeting processes and financial forecasting Assist in financial audit processes and ensure compliance with rules and regulations Develop and maintain internal control processes Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger and prepare month-end close procedures Analyze financial reports and implement strategies for cost reduction Utilize various accounting software and tools such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks efficiently. Requirements Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Excel Formulas and Excel VBA, is required. Familiarity with Month End Close processes is essential. Knowledge and experience with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP are required. Experience in the Manufacturing sector, particularly with Manufactured Products and Food Production, is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Business Intelligence and Macola is beneficial. Familiarity with Excelsius and Process Excellence is desirable. Ability to work with Cloud ERP systems is essential. A strong understanding of the manufacture process is required.
