Jacobs has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, financially and technically savvy leader to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team as Sr. Director and Finance Partner. In this role, you will lead a team and partner with senior leaders in the organization to drive a successful and transparent financial planning process. You will also collaborate across the wider Finance organization on continuous improvement activities and lead transformative initiatives. Bring your initiative, passion for innovation, and leadership to this fast-paced environment, and we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you.In this role, you’ll be a key member of the FP&A team as a finance partner to the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer, leaders of HSSEQ, HR, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Sustainability and executive and board functions. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the success of annual business planning, quarterly forecasting, along with timely and accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis, financial presentation preparation and ad-hoc analysis for your leadership team. You’ll highlight business trends, develop KPI’s and provide insights to help drive improvement in financial metrics. Part of the deliverables will include coordination with the ELT members on prioritization reviews of enterprise change initiatives, supporting development of return-on-investment calculations in business cases and ensuring robust measurement of Jacobs financial performance is delivered in QFR and QBR reviews. More than financial leadership, you will be a true strategic partner to your stakeholders primarily key ELT members. Stakeholder management, being a true strategic partner and ability to synthesize and effectively communicate key aspects to ELT members will be key.You will also be a key leader who will drive the CFO Tools strategy and vision initiative across the CFO organization. This critical multiyear initiative will touch all aspects of finance tools and ERP to setup the CFO organization on path to automation, AI and help move the finance organization from data to insights. Finally, you will also lead the CFO finance training series and finance council group. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

A minimum 10 years of experience working in a corporate finance or related role.

Working knowledge of finance tools and ERP systems (Oracle) and significant Excel experience

Strong financial analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret and articulate insight to non-financial team members

Proven track record of driving systematic change to modernize finance tools in large organization helping finance in the journey to move from data to insights to predictive

Strategic thinking combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to project manage multiple initiatives

Effectively handle change and work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines

Demonstrated passion for inspirational and inclusive leadership along with proven leadership capability and skills

Proven track record of providing executive and senior management support and working with outside advisors

Established experience in supporting central corporate functions as well as Lines of Businesses/Business Units; Business partnership is critical

Expert-level analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to proactively engage financial data to make recommendations

Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle Planning, or similar

Experience with Automation and ERP implementation processes will be a plus
