ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: televisaUnivision, is looking for a news-entertainment reporter to join our team. This position will be reporting to the VP & Executive Producer.YOUR DAY-DAY:

Responsible for Investigating, planning, producing and reporting in Spanish.

Be the on-air in studio or on location doing live shots.

Must be creative, and have great story telling and writing skills in Spanish.

Gather entertainment news information (Mexico, USA, Latin America) and prepare it for on air delivery.

Perform live broadcast show that is entertaining and informative.

Interview show guests about their lifestyles.

Provide commentary and conduct interviews during “Live” transmissions, and other events.

Pitch segments/ideas, and work closely with Production team.

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Journalism required.

Must be able to work well under strict deadlines and pressure.

Strong knowledge of Spanish show business and entertainment.

Able to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.

Strong knowledge of journalistic ethics and entertainment laws.

Able to read, analyze and interpret all written and oral information received.

Must be creative, have a sharp wit and able to improvise and think quickly while on air.

Proficiency in usage of social media platforms, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.

Pleasant and well-controlled voice and good timing when speaking on air.

Bilingual in English/Spanish verbal and written skills.

Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office and knowledge of Audio Software such as Adobe Audition

5+ years TV reporting experience in Spanish Language Broadcasting preferred.

Investigative, write, and report Spanish entertainment news.

Ability to relate to the audience and have a strong listener interaction.

Excellent public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.

Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Skilled in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.

Must be willing to work from different locations.

Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, edit, reach and sit for up to (8) hours.
