Essential Job Duties
Work closely with Quality, CSM’s, maintenance, and engineering departments.
Assist with inspections and ensure inspections meet the requirements.
Maintain job status, inspections, and paperwork completion.
Provide training to other technicians when needed.
Monitor progress of engines.
Technician or inspector duties may be required.
Adhere to company quality, FAA, EASA Part 145 requirements and procedures.
Follow Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM) requirements.
Comply with OSHA safety standards.
Properly use calibrated tooling.
Effectively navigate, understand maintenance manuals and engine shop manual procedures.
Ability to work on holidays, weekends, and after hours.
Provide feedback and identify training opportunities.
Possess proficiency skills with inspection techniques and manual limits research.
Perform required inspections of calibrated tooling, hazmat, and any other interval inspection that is required.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
Minimum Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate (A&P) or Repairman’s certificate.
4+ years of aviation maintenance experience.
1+ years of work experience as a GES technician.
Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally.
Quality experience a plus.
Obtain working knowledge of Quantum Control and Jetraxx systems within three months.
Intermediate to advanced user of Adobe DC & Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Read, write and understand the English language.
Ability to obtain a US Passport.
Accountabilities Accountable to the Director of Quality & Safety. Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
May be exposed to loud noise.
Able to bend, stoop, kneel and stand for prolonged periods, climb steps, ladders, and/or service stands.
Ability to talk, hear and smell.
Reach/handle items, work with fingers and perceives attributes of object and materials.
May need to work outside as necessary.
Must be enrolled in the DOT-approved random drug and alcohol testing program.
Normal office environment and performed in the sitting position with the remaining time walking around the office or repair station/shop areas.
Normal or corrected hearing.
May need to work in hot or cold weather conditions.
Visual Acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected and must be able to distinguish color.
