Role: MSSQL DBA

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote till Covid)

Duration: Full Time (FTE)Job Description:· Ability to work in night shift & weekends on rotating basis.· Good concept and exposure in MS Sql Server Administration And Sybase administration· Experience in handling VLDB (upto 10TB) & manage business’ Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)& Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)· Troubleshoot MS SQL Server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends· Configure MS SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms· Experience with AlwaysOn, Clustering. Transcational replication, Azure experience is desirable.· Troubleshoot issues with new installation of MS SQL Servers in standalone/ clustered mode.· Very good in troubleshooting MS SQL performance issues, wait analysis, blocking/ deadlock handling, performance improvement suggestions.· On-call troubleshooting experience. Manage Technical Bridges.· Experience with Autosys scheduling & automation tool. Autosys log analysis.· Understanding of different types of storage SAN, NAS etc.· Knowledge on Database security practices & Auditing requirement.· Knowledge of Disaster recovery environment
