The role is responsible for providing cross functional support in the Mortgage Servicing department.What you'll do

Set up new loans in the FICS servicing system

Handle property tax/insurance policy issues and provide service to members' questions regarding their property tax or insurance policy

Track and log legal documents related to mortgage processing

Prepare and image documents for record retention

Provide requested payoffs to members, loan officers, and other lenders

Review account information with members and requests corrections as necessary

Process legal documents when mortgage is paid in full

Perform other duties as assigned

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

High school diploma or GED

Previous customer/member service

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

College degree in relevant field or equivalent relevant industry experience

Previous experience handling mortgages

Previous banking or Credit Union experience

Experience with Episys

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software

Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and capacity for attention to detail

Ability to effectively work with people of varying backgrounds and levels and securing inter- and intra-departmental and external cooperation

Ability to demonstrate above average interpersonal and communications skills & professional demeanor

Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure

Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance

Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
