Marketing - Business Systems Analyst for our Airlines client. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas, TX. Please review the job description below. Job ID: 21-17532 The Marketing Systems Analyst's primary responsibility is supporting Client' direct marketing campaigns, Customer research efforts, and technology and process implementations. This person understands the loyalty database, backend processes, and Client' marketing campaigns. The Marketing Systems Analyst's main activities include developing scripts and queries for database pulls, performing quality control on developed campaigns, and developing process standards to streamline the campaign processes. WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:- Supports development of campaigns and queries for database pulls related to direct marketing, systems analysis, and ad-hoc requests
- Understands the loyalty database, backend processes, frequent flyer program, and promotional campaigns to support revenue, Customer Experience, and loyalty goals
- Performs quality control on campaigns and scripts to ensure accuracy, with an eye for possible defects
- Supports development of process standards to streamline campaign development and database query processes
- Supports collaboration with other Marketing teams to assess technology needs for enhanced Customer insight and personalization
- Identifies the key learnings that address business questions and makes meaningful recommendations
- Communicates in a compelling and well thought-out manner in all types of interaction, explains learnings clearly, and presents with poise and confidence
- Collaborates well with others, builds relationships with business owners, and follows through against established timelines
- Is adaptable to evolving business needs and a changing environment
- Is solution oriented; positively impacts the environment of his or her direct team and others with whom he or she interacts
- Works with leader to align on priorities, constructively address project work, and build personal development plans
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Bachelor's degree required. Degree Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field required
- OR, if the candidate holds an advanced degree, such work experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of SQL required
- Knowledge of Oracle or Teradata databases preferred
- Experience with a Campaign Management tool preferred (examples: Adobe or IBM Campaign)
- Knowledge of UNIX preferred
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and database reporting tools required
- Familiarity with the airline industry and/or field of marketing preferred
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills required
- Possesses strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Communicates effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
- Prioritizes effectively and hits promised timelines
- Delivers quality work within a low-cost environment
