Description Robert Half is currently seeking a Loan Servicing Support Specialist. The Loan Servicing Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting the processing and servicing of loans. Tasks include customer communication, processes to maintain accurate system records, payment postings, and legal documents. This is the Loan Servicing Support position if you are a detail-oriented, organized, and driven individual.Major responsibilities
Respond to credit reporting disputes and correct credit reporting errors
Manage loan maintenance, including modifications, extensions and required changes in core processing system
Answer customer inquiries efficiently and accurately, which may include generating loan payoff letters
Manage payments, advances, and adjustments on loans
Own the review of loan documentation for accuracy and completeness
Inquire into misapplied or missing loan payments
Arrange escrow payments for property taxes, insurance, and association dues Requirements - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as high attention to detail
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
High school diploma or equivalent required (AA/BA/BS in Accounting, finance or economics preferred)
Comfort working in a highly confidential and compliance driven environment
Strong Microsoft Office skills
