Description We are working with a national law firm, offering an exciting opportunity in the legal industry for a Litigation Paralegal to work in their Dallas, Texas office. This role is integral to the firm's local operations and will involve preparing attorneyts for trial, drafting legal documents, managing cases from inception to trial, and conducting factual research.Responsibilities Oversee the collection and organization of documents from different sources Analyze and summarize medical records in a systematic manner Manage cases from start to finish, ensuring smooth progress to trial Draft routine legal documents as needed for the litigation process Conduct extensive document searches and factual research to support cases Use your proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Detail Oriented for document creation and management Exhibit excellent communication skills while interacting with clients and attorneys Demonstrate strong organizational skills by maintaining and organizing case files Prepare summaries of deposition transcripts, medical records, and discovery pleadings as requested Use your legal knowledge to assist attorneys through all phases of the litigation process Adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines effectively Troubleshoot issues, create solutions and work independently on tasks Work collaboratively as part of a litigation team.Requirements Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is necessary for document handling and management. Excellent calendar management skills to keep track of important dates and deadlines. Prior experience in insurance defense litigation is required. Should have a strong background as a litigation paralegal. Familiarity with state court procedures is essential. Expertise in insurance defense is needed. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook for managing emails and schedules is required. Should be able to create presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience in using Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration is necessary. Proficiency in e-Filing and court filings is required for managing legal documents. Experience in trial preparation is needed. The ability to analyze medical records is essential. Experience in preparing trial notebooks is required. Must possess legal knowledge and understand legal terminology. Ability to draft legal documents is necessary.
