Description We are in search of a highly skilled LEAD ENGINEER to join our team in the B2C / Secondary Ticketing market, based out of Dallas, Texas. This role involves developing and migrating features for consumer-facing products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of technical roadmaps within the LAMP stack and GCP. Responsibilities: Lead the migration and building of features from the existing LAMP stack application to Google Cloud using NodeJs, VueJS, CloudSQL, and Google Cloud technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, QA, and operations to define and prioritize engineering efforts Oversee the design and development of new products and technologies, including prototyping and testing Manage the entire product development life cycle, from concept to launch Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, implement solutions to improve product performance and reliability Develop technical roadmaps and contribute to long-term strategic plans Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, continually improve engineering processes and methodologies Participate actively in code reviews and test solutions to ensure they meet best practice specifications Engage in API Development and work with LAMP, PHP, Linux, and the Google Cloud Platform.Requirements Candidate must possess strong skills in API Development Proficiency in LAMP stack is required Extensive experience with PHP programming language is essential Must have solid Linux operating system knowledge Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a must Prior experience in the Financial Services industry is desired A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills are necessary Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently, is crucial Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and advancements Demonstrated experience in software development and system maintenance is a plus Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies would be advantageous.
