Interim Controller (contract)

Description We are offering a unique opportunity for an Interim Controller to cover a medical leave in Dallas, Texas. This role is within the restaurant industry, where you will oversee accounting and financial operations for multiple brands and locations. The position is a contract role and will involve managing budgetary processes, financial statements, and intercompany accounts. This role is 100% ONSITE in Dallas, TX 75240.Interim Controller (restaurant industry/ contract role to cover a medical leave):Responsibilities: Oversee accounting and financial operations for multiple restaurant brands and locations Manage and oversee the budgetary and financial statement process Oversee the treasury function and maintain intercompany accounts Manage day-to-day activities including maintaining records and production of financial statements Review monthly reconciliations to ensure accounts are accurately presented and provide guidance when items are identified as improperly stated or reported Produce accurate and timely reports to support business decision-making Monitor financial statements and identify ways to improve operational and financial efficiencies Oversee and manage Accounts Payable and Internal Reporting processes Utilize Quattro Pro and Excel for various accounting functions.Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar Proficiency in Accounting Functions Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Budget Processes is critical Knowledge of Quattro Pro software is beneficial Capable of producing Internal Reporting Experience in the Restaurant industry is required Hospitality Management skills are essential Understanding of Income Franchise is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
