Position: Informatica Engineer/IDQ Engineer

Location: Downtown Dallas (75201) – WFH is expected to lift between July-September 2021

Duration: 6 Month contract + the possibility of extension

Must Haves:
  • 3-5 years’ of experience as a data engineer using Informatica
  • Strong experience in informatica MDM for data cleansing and correction
  • Strong experience in MS SQL database
  • Understanding of Dimensional Models and data modeling tool like Designer 2000 or ERWIN

Pluses:
  • Scripting experience in Perl, Shell Script
  • Finance Industry experience

Day-to-Day:
  • Configuring, Optimizing and Maintaining Data Governance applications using Informatica data quality including :
  • Software configuration, integration, and testing
  • Tuning and optimizing the execution of data quality measurements to minimize operational impacts of production
  • Building and implementing data asset discovery configurations in the data governance software
  • Creating data catalog, business glossary, and data quality scorecard
  • Documenting data governance system architecture, application operational processes and procedures, and application configuration procedures

Day-to-Day: The Associate, Data Quality is responsible for working across business lines to define requirements, builds analytical data sets, performs data analysis, and delivers analytical solutions that meet the strategic initiatives and planning activities for their designated business area.Maintains and monitors data and databases to meet the company's current and projected future needs. Reviews and ensures the quality, accuracy and security of data in accordance with established procedures and standards. Monitors database activity and the relationships between the database users and applications to ensure appropriate data usage and resolve data conflicts. Collaborates with technology/infrastructure staff to identify data relationships and functional requirements. Designs and monitors control systems which ensure the integrity and security of data and for advising on the optimal use of the organization's computing resources. Assesses the completeness, accuracy, validity and efficiency of information processing, business and application systems, reviews the operations, systems software, systems development and security of the organization's computing environment, and recommends appropriate software and hardware acquisitions.
