Will rotate duties between offices (currently but not limited to the Dallas & Rockwall locations).Work hours: Full Time Days (Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm) for 40 hrs/week.Heart & Vascular Specialists highlights:· Strong teamwork and collaboration· Compassion and empathy to our patients and the Team· Supports the needs of our Dallas Clinic and our Rockwall Clinic· We are a fully integrated practice, uniting hospitals and physician offices into one collaborative teamHere’s What You Need· Bachelor's Degree Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology or related field (Required)· 3 months experience in Cardiac Rehab (Preferred)· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (Required) And· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days (Required) And· CCES - Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist (Preferred) Or· RCEP - Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Preferred)What You Will Do· Assess patient health risks, needs, and interests.· Exercise and pharmacologic stress test supervision, including preliminary test interpretation.· Conduct fitness evaluations in accordance with testing guidelines and assist in the development of comprehensive individualized exercise program.· Develop exercise prescriptions/programs tailored to the unique needs of the cardiovascular patient in accordance with the diagnosis and orders from the provider.· Work with lab manager to maintain proper maintenance of testing equipment, and reports any malfunctions in a timely manner, while maintaining a safe and clear environment· Provide administrative support as needed, including but not limited to assisting patients with registration for cardiac rehab, receiving phone calls, providing information on cardiac rehab services, assists in scheduling appointments.Additional perks of being a Texas Health Exercise Physiologist· Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, student Loan forgiveness as well as several other benefits.· Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.· Strong Unit Based Council (UBC).· A supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth.· Learn (https://jobs.texashealth.org/why-texas-health/) more about our culture, benefits, and recent awards.Do you still have questions or concerns?
