Responsibilities include performing routine equipment checks and maintenance, loading and unloading products, and ensuring equipment is safely operated and stored. To be successful as an equipment operator, you should consistently follow safety regulations and be able to take instructions from superiors. Outstanding equipment operators should display great hand and foot coordination and always think of ways to improve efficiency. In addition, this role will back up other distribution roles. This individual is a team player and detail orientated. They are results-driven and are comfortable working in a fluctuating environment with a moderate level of change. A good candidate can work in a fast-paced environment that is task-driven with minimal supervision. They can focus on the task at hand while maintaining a steady, consistent pace of work. Equipment Operator Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment

Receive and put away inbound inventory

Cycle count inventory

Restock inventory

Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with company safety regulations.

Training new crew members in the safe operation of equipment.

Promptly reporting all issues to Operations Manager.

Attending meetings and refresher courses to ensure responsible equipment operation.

Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required.

Performing other duties as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Relevant license and safety certification.

Prior experience operating equipment.

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow orders, especially under pressure.

Reliable and Punctual

Focus on detail

Great work ethic

Passion for constant improvement

High school diploma or GED

Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on occasion

Ability to walk, stand, kneel and/or climb for 8 hours a day

Must have reliable transportation

Benefits

Starting to pay $21.00 per hour
