Commercial Irrigation Technician

We’re hiring an Irrigation Technician to maintain and repair irrigation systems, including two-wire setups. Must be tech-savvy, able to use Aspire or irrigation apps for tracking, and have experience with both residential and commercial irrigation systems.Responsibilities:Monitor, test, and inspect new and existing irrigation systems to ensure proper performanceReplace or repair heads, pipes, valves, and fittings as neededTroubleshoot issues with sprinklers, wiring, and central control systemsDiagnose and repair two-wire systems using wire tracing toolsPerform seasonal services such as system start-ups and winterizationsInstall timers, valves, and piping with accuracyEvaluate water usage and make adjustments to improve efficiencyAccurately document and track job activity using Aspire and/or irrigation system appsComplete and submit daily reports and paperwork as requiredMaintain safe work practices and follow all company policies and proceduresSupport special projects or additional duties as assignedQualifications:1–2 years of experience in commercial and residential irrigation system repairKnowledge of two-wire systems, wire tracing, and diagnosticsTech-savvy and comfortable using mobile apps or software (e.g., Aspire) for reportingValid driver’s licenseLicensed Irrigator or Irrigation Technician (preferred)Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)Perks: 401K with company match up to 4%Health, Vision, and Dental InsurancePaid-Time OffHoliday PayRecognition programs and performance bonusesContinuing education and industry involvement opportunitiesWhy SoBo: For more than two decades Southern Botanical "SoBo" has built a reputation for creativity, quality and integrity throughout North Texas and beyond.
