TX 75231Work hours: PRN; Day shiftPharmacy Department highlights:· A very diverse and inclusive team with a focus on exceptional patient care and service.Here’s What You Need· Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Upon Hire Required or· Other Pharm D. Required and CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required· Hospital experience or residency preferred· PHAR - Pharmacist License within 90 days of hire RequiredWhat You Will Do· Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.· Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.· Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.· Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required.· Ongoing professional development and growth.· Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.· Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.· Other duties as assigned.Entity HighlightsFor more than a half-century, Texas Health Dallas has been at the forefront of health care in North Texas.
