We have an immediate long term contract opportunity in Dallas, TX (remote to start) for a Business/Data Analyst. This is a hybrid role. The successful candidate must have strong hands-on experience with BRD, FSD and SQL. Must have strong SQL knowledge need relatively strong skills because this person will need to create their own queries to research requirements and tickets Responsibilities and Skills must include:
- Create simple queries join up some tables, where clauses, group by and understand database schemas to know which tables to join (foreign keys, indexes, etc)
- Read stored procedures and translate into Business terminology (code business requirements)
- Analyze stored procedures for production research issues/audits
- Excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge in the waterfall project methodology, including:
- Understand Business Requirements Document
- Translate BRD into Functional requirements
- Assist developers with design documents
- Experience with SDLC documentation in an enterprise environment
- Submitting change requests
- Working with InfoSec to document the data elements in a data exchange request
- Project documentation
- Working with ticketing systems like Service Now
- Working in TFS for both boards (user stories, etc.) and also code repository
