Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bilingual Spanish/English-Claims Representative AGL/Sr Claims Representative AGL in our Dallas, Texas location. This role operates within the telecom industry and requires a seasoned professional to handle various claims-related tasks. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for reviewing claim and policy information, conducting investigations, and managing the settlement process.Responsibilities: Review claim and policy information to provide a background for investigation and determine the extent of the policy's obligation to the insured Communicate with insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, attorneys, police officers to secure necessary claim information Arrange for appraisals for property losses when necessary Evaluate facts supplied by the investigation to determine the extent of liability of the insured and the company's obligation under the policy contract Prepare reports on investigation, settlements, denials of claims, individual evaluation of involved parties and more Set reserves within authority limits and recommend reserve changes to Team Leader Review progress and status of claims with Team Leader and discuss problems and suggested remedial actions Settle claims promptly and equitably, both represented and non-represented Bodily Claims Obtain releases, proofs of loss or compensation agreements and issue company drafts in payments for claims Inform claimants, insureds/customers or attorneys of denial of claim when applicableSkills: Customer Service Training Policy Payment Processing Supervising Claim Administration English Language Progress Property Spanish Language Compensation Administration Appraisals Prepare Reports Settlements Liability Release Process Injury Denials Requirements Proficiency in English and Spanish languages is crucial for effective communication in the office environment. Prior experience in Customer Service and Training is desirable to ensure efficient office operations. Familiarity with Policy and Payment Processing is expected to streamline daily office tasks. Supervisory skills are essential to effectively manage office staff and delegate tasks. Knowledge of 'About Time', 'Claim Administration', and 'Compensation Administration' is preferred. Proficiency in 'Appraisals', 'Prepare Reports', 'Onsite', 'Settlements', 'Liability', 'Release Process', 'Injury', 'Denials' is required. Experience in 'A Plus', 'Witnesses', 'FACTS', 'Exposures' is an added advantage. Understanding of 'Progress', 'Property', 'Methods' is beneficial for the role. Ability to administer office functions and manage records effectively. Excellent organizational skills to ensure smooth office operations. Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with staff and clients. Proficiency in the use of office equipment and computer systems. Ability to manage office budget and expenses. Capable of handling conflict resolution and employee issues professionally. Excellent problem-solving skills to deal with unexpected issues efficiently. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to their urgency. Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within set timelines. Willingness to learn and adapt to new office procedures and processes.
