Email a Friend Save SaveApply NowPosition Description:Job Purpose and ScopeThis role is responsible for managing the assigned departmental software release process for the Bank and ensuring efficient delivery of application releases in accordance with the Data Development Life Cycle (“DDLC”) standards. The position operates in a “first-line” risk management capacity, providing oversight, driving approvals, communication, support, and assurance that DDLC procedures and key controls are followed in practice across all workstreams.Essential Job Functions

Manage and optimize assigned departmental release management process.

Document the scope of all departmental releases, along with all required release deliverables.

Assist in facilitation of agile events, release communications, and solution demos.

Improve workflows by introducing and/or enhancing DevOps best practices.

Enforces policy, procedures, standards, and departmental guidelines.

Assist in the management of risks and dependencies.

Work with Product Manager and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategy and execution.

Develops an understanding of Bank applications and their respective roles in generating data and the subsequent utilization of data in downstream bank data assets.

Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of bank data assets and enabling technologies.

Supports the Bank’s Risk Management processes.

Assist tracking the execution of features and epics.

Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.

Maintains good punctuality and attendance at work.

Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.

Experience using issue tracking and release management software.

High school diploma or equivalent, required; Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field, preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in a professional work environment, required.

Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in delivery of enterprise level software or data solutions, preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an agile development environment, preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Azure, preferred.

Experience with Atlassian Jira Software and Confluence, preferred.

Experience working with distributed teams, preferred.
