Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:The AVP, AMTF Strategies Credit Implementation role, is a key position reporting to the VP, Credit Strategies Implementation Lead. This role is responsible for implementing the Authorization and Real-Time Credit Line Increase requests and build, test, support, and manage our authorization, fraud, and credit line increase request systems for all Co-Brand, Dual Card, Private Label, Commercial, and PS/CC clients. This role will also participate in designing, mockups, testing and implementing the future state of our authorization engines using Java OOP concepts.Our Way of WorkingWe're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. Manage Credit Account Management Infrastructure Real-Time Systems change requests for Authorization, Fraud, and Real-Time Credit Line Increase processes.
Design, Test, Implement, Track and Support various system and strategies changes for authorization engines (Power Curve, Java, SAS, Python)
Assist in transformation and maintenance of code into modularized environment using Java Object Oriented Programming best practices
Work with cross functional teams on various Product and Client launches
Interface with Agile teams per SAFe protocol to get stories prioritized and delivered
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject) and 4+ years' experience (or in lieu of a degree, 7+ years' experience) working with programming tools and processes
3+ years of proven work experience with JAVA object oriented modular programming
3+ years' experience working with SQL, Python or SAS and scripting
3+ years' experience working with Test Management practices and tools
Desired Characteristics:
Experience with consumer and commercial lending products and practices
Experience with Experian Power Curve, FISERV
Knowledge of Agile/SAFe framework
Experience working with Python & Hive
Strong communication to teams in a clear, concise manner
PC proficiency (Microsoft Suite including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) or comparable software application
Experience engaging and working with clients / partners to gain alignment and achieve key deliverables
Cross-functional experience with a track record of leading in a matrix environment and influencing key decision makers
Master's / MBA degree preferred in computer programming, mathematics, finance, business, engineering, or other quantitative fields
Grade/Level: 10The salary range for this position is 95,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post.
