The Academic Advisor reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and is responsible for meeting with prospective student-athletes, enrolling student-athletes, and monitoring student-athlete academic status while coordinating with professors with student-athletes in their classes in regard to game, practice and travel schedules. Will work closely with the Faculty Athletics Representative ( FAR ).Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years related experience; or Master’s degree.
Preferred Education and Experience: Preferred Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree; and 1-2 years of experience in academic advising, counseling, higher education, social work, human services with students, young adults or adolescents, or related experience determined by Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.
