Posting Number: S05483PDepartment: Dean of StudentsSalary Range: $85,000 - DOQPay Basis: MonthlyPosition Status: Regular full-timeLocation: RichardsonJob Description: Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students, the Associate Dean for Health and Wellness Services provides administrative vision, leadership, supervision, strategic planning, and assessment for functional areas including but not limited to the Student Health Center, Student Counseling Center, Student Wellness Center, and University Recreation. The Associate Dean is responsible for the implementation of a holistic and integrated wellness model that promotes physical, emotional, and psychological health resulting in student retention, well-being, and quality of life. The Associate Dean is responsible for the UTD Behavior Assessment and Intervention Team ( BAIT ), temporary accommodations for students, and the Student Emergency Fund. The associate dean has shared duties for on-call response overnight and on weekends.Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Health Education, Health Promotion, or related field. Five to seven years with in progressive administrative experience in Higher Education. Three to five years of supervisory experience in High Education environment.Preferred Education and Experience: Doctoral Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, Health Education, Health Promotion, or a related field.
