What this Position Does: The Bilingual Laundry Attendant will ensure that residents have access to clean and well-maintained laundry equipment and facilities.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities This Person will be Overseeing:
Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards in the laundry room, including wiping down machines, folding tables, and other surfaces regularly.
Ensure that all laundry equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Sort and process laundry according to specified guidelines, including separating colors, whites, and delicate items.
Operate washing and drying machines efficiently, following proper procedures and guidelines to ensure the best results.
Assist residents with any questions or issues they may have regarding laundry services, including providing guidance on machine usage and troubleshooting common problems.
Keep inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
Qualifications Involved with the Position: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Physical Demands Required: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type on computer as well as talk and hear on the telephone. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Corporate Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
