Job Title: Experienced Accountant

Type: Contract (2-3 weeks) with potential for permanent leadership role
Overview:
Our high-volume car dealership and service center is expanding from a 9,000 sq. ft. space to a 32,000 sq. ft. complex. We need an exceptional accountant to join us for a demanding project anticipated to last 2-3 weeks. This role is crucial, as our bank requires accurate and up-to-date financials to finalize our expansion loan. The position demands advanced skills in financial reconciliations and procedural enhancements, with the ability to work under tight deadlines. This opportunity is not for the faint-hearted—it’s for a professional who demonstrates resilience, stamina, and the ability to work long hours to meet our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive reconciliation of all accounts.
Critically evaluate and refine accounting procedures and workflows.
Lead a team toward accurate and efficient financial reporting and forecasting.
Opportunity to rise to the permanent head of the accounting department based on performance.
Requirements:
Extensive accounting experience with a focus on financial reconciliation and process optimization, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative team approach.

Capacity to work on-site for extended hours until project completion.

Compensation:
This position offers task-based pay, not hourly. Compensation is based on successful project completion.
Candidates will have a chance to assess the project scope in advance to decide if the proposed compensation meets their expectations. THIS WILL NOT BE AN HOURLY PAY POSITION FOR THE CONTRACT. We will work together in creating a contract.
