Job Description:
The Office Administrator / Administrative Assistant will support the engineering and surveying teams by handling paperwork, managing schedules, and providing administrative support.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in office administration or a similar role.
- Experience in the engineering or surveying industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and proactively address issues as they arise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of engineering and land surveying terminology is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize paperwork, including files, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Input and maintain data in various systems and databases.
- Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
- Handle incoming communications, including phone calls and emails.
- Order office supplies and maintain office organization.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports as needed.
