Job Title: Medical Records / Drafting Paralegal

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our litigation team.

Job Description:

As a medical records / drafting paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our case managers and attorneys in handling personal injury cases. Your responsibilities will include:

Writing: Drafting demand letters, discovery, pleadings, and motions.

Client Communication: Assist in maintaining regular communication with clients, providing updates on case status, and addressing any questions or concerns.

Document Management: Organize and manage case files, including medical records, legal documents, and correspondence.

Scheduling: Coordinate appointments and meetings for clients and attorneys.

Data Entry: Accurately input and update case information in our case management system.

Request Records: Request records on on case-related matters, including medical records, liens, and accident reports

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed.

Required Skills:

Strong writing skills are required.

Must be bi-lingual (spanish).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work as a team.

Ability to use CLIO is a plus

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is a plus.
