Our client, a large financial services company is seeking a Security Systems Administrator (physical office security not cyber or information security) for a full time employee position at their office in Coppell (Dallas area), Texas location. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Systems Administrator who has experience administering CCTV, Network Video Recording Systems (NVR), Controlled Access System (CAS) types of systems. Responsibilities:- System and application administrator for global access control and video management system.
- Experience with system integration with third party enterprise-level systems (API and SFTP). Represent the department in planning, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of updates and improvement, in coordination with client Infrastructure Technology (IT) partners.
- Maintain current corporate-wide Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system application including IP/Analog cameras; ensure system is updated with the latest version of OEM software.
- Conduct testing of software, system updates and security patches on development/QA environment prior to installation within the production environment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of electronic and physical security systems. Including, but not limited to: Controlled Access System, Micro-Controllers, Alarm Panels, Visitor System, CCTV, and Network Video Recording Systems, and other physical devices (i.e. turnstiles, blast doors, electronic locks and card readers).
- Maintain and lead all aspects of scheduled maintenance work using designated software.
- Maintain a list of over 100 firewall rules for access to and from the Security Network to the Corporate network and over 1000 Internet Protocols (IP) addresses for each client location.
- Coordinate administrative rights of Network Video Recorders located in more than 15 domestic and international locations.
- Write/run SQL as needed. Perform system access provisioning for global security staff and third-party integration.
- Manage project, throughout the project lifecycle, for global installation and integration of new security technology.
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a corporate security position.
- Working knowledge of databases.
- PSP or other security related professional certifications a plus
- Solid grasp of controlled access systems (CAS) and network video systems (NVR). AMAG Symmetry Access Control and Avigilon video system preferred, but other systems are ok.
