Description Communications Specialist - Contract - HybridLocation: Coppell, TX 75019 (Onsite 3 days per week)Schedule: 40 hours per week, 3-month contractOverview:We are seeking a talented Communications Specialist to support our internal communication efforts, delivering clear, engaging, and timely content. You will play a critical role in enhancing team connections and communication across various channels. This position requires a strong communicator with experience in content creation and an ability to drive engagement through effective campaigns.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver internal communication materials, including newsletters, updates, and employee communications.

Manage editorial calendars and communication schedules to ensure consistency and timely delivery.

Draft, plan, and edit content for multiple internal channels (intranet, emails, etc.).

Monitor employee engagement metrics and feedback, using insights to enhance communication strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational messaging.

Requirements

Writing and Editing Expertise: Proven experience in content creation, internal communications, and crafting tailored messages for diverse audiences.

Campaign and Community Engagement: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute campaigns that drive employee engagement and produce measurable results.

Multi-Channel Communication: Proficient in managing content across multiple platforms (internal/external) to maintain consistent and effective messaging.

Qualifications:

Experience in internal communications, content development, and project management.

Familiarity with tracking engagement metrics and implementing communication strategies.

Strong organizational and editorial skills to manage schedules and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools (Basecamp or similar) is a plus.
