We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Histotechnologist for our facility to join our Laboratory team. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!What you will do in this role:
You will process and prepare surgical specimens, and body fluids for microscopic evaluation.
You will assist the Pathologist in gross examination of specimens.
You will retain specimens and reports.
You will prepare and maintain procedure manuals.
You will conduct routine and preventative maintenance on departmental equipment.
What qualification you will need:
Two years of experience as a Histologist in a Clinical Pathology Laboratory, is referred.
HT (ASCP), is required.
