Job Description
MEMCO is part of an 80-year-old, family-owned company with operations throughout Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Colorado. We are currently seeking an aggressive sales rep to join our Bryan/College Station team to market our Payrolling, Staffing and Temporary labor services. Our core business has been providing these services to the commercial construction and manufacturing industries.
Outside Sales & Account Representative
Identify new opportunities/prospects and develop a contact plan
Generate new business through cold calls, associations, warm leads & dormant accounts
Establish a professional relationship with existing clients for customer service and account growth
Keep “top of mind” awareness with current clients through lunches, visits, etc.
Represent the company at local trade association meetings and functions
Generate orders by including all pertinent information from customer regarding assignment
Other duties as needed
Job Requirements
· Must have outgoing personality, positive attitude and be self-motivated to stay on task with minimal supervision
· Must have professional appearance and demeanor
· Must be an excellent communicator
· Must have a strong work ethic and be a team player
· Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
· Must be eligible to work in the United States – MEMCO/Marek is an E-Verify employer
· 3+yrs experience in outside sales
· Prior experience in the staffing industry is a major PLUS
· Knowledge of construction and manufacturing trades is a PLUS
Compensation
Base salary($40,000-$50,000) + commission
Commission paid on sold accounts and hours billed
Vehicle allowance and gas allowance
