Supply Chain Specialist Description:Join our team! Actalent is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist in the Cibolo, TX area. The Production Control Specialist (Supply Chain Specialist) is responsible for the Production planning and production status management activities at our client's facility. Main Duties / Responsibilities:
Ordering and transportation of parts to be purchased from Japan
Ordering and transportation of parts to be purchased from North America
Production planning
Possible Additional Duties Include, but are not Limited to:
Execution of the production planning and final product inventory activities.
Execution of Parts and Materials arrangement planning and parts inventory plans.
Execution of Procurement-Campus Delivery logistic planning.
Promoting new project preparation activities.
Able to create strategies that effectively utilize lean business resources and achieve company objectives.
Able to communicate and present these strategies to leaders inside and outside the company.
Able to develop and maintain good project management plans.
Able to report progress on a timely manner and determine next steps action plans.
Ability to develop individual gap analysis to help HR create development plans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree desirable.
Good level of knowledge in lean production concepts such as OEE, KANBAN, FIFO, BOM.
Experienced in operation Time Study.
Must be capable of flexibly responding to any changes in the company’s direction.
Effective oral and written communications skills.
