Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are in the search for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the Hi Tech Engineering industry. The role will be based in Cedar Park, Texas and will involve maintaining accurate customer credit records, resolving payment discrepancies, and processing credit cards. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Prepare and send invoices through various channels such as email, portals, and mail merge Contact customers for payment resolutions and assist in collections Resolve payment discrepancies and produce reports as required by management Process credit cards and handle other accounting functions Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for various tasks Handle accounts receivable, billing functions, and B2B collections Manage cash applications, billing, and work in progress (WIP) Gain experience with pay applications and construction accounting. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing Functions Prior experience in B2B collections Knowledge in Cash Applications Experience in Billing Procedures Understanding of WIP - Work In Progress within the engineering industry Must have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high levels of accuracy Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent problem-solving skills High level of organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
