Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant 2 in Carrollton, Texas. The role involves providing high-level administrative support, including research, information handling, and clerical duties. The individual will act as an information and communication manager for the office.Responsibilities: Perform tasks related to office management such as maintaining records management systems and performing basic bookkeeping work. Handle customer service and communication tasks effectively and efficiently. Prepare documents such as invoices, reports, memos, letters, and financial statements. Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for various tasks. Organize and manage one's time to work independently and maintain the confidentiality of information. Conduct research and handle information requests. Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails. Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries. File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports. Perform clerical duties such as photocopying and scanning documents. Requirements Ability to deliver high-quality customer service Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in office functions and procedures Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to conduct research and prepare detailed reports Knowledge and experience with the 'About Time' management system Proficiency in managing correspondence Familiarity with clerical duties such as filing, typing, and managing incoming calls Ability to understand and prepare financial statements Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset Experience in managing and distributing faxes Excellent written communication skills for preparing responses to inquiries Proficiency in records management Familiarity with various computer programs Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles Ability to prepare invoices and manage billing Experience in photocopying and scanning documents Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
