Follow up with daily work orders on drums
Daily Safety Checks
Proactively looks for ways to reduce cost through the elimination of excess chemicals.
Proper Training for Chemical man
Avoid waste for all chemicals
Measurements and weight chemicals correctly
Look for continuous improvement in operating processes, procedures and encourages team member’s ownership of all processes.
Daily meetings with team members
Daily after shift meeting with the transferring shift
Manages hourly employee’s timecards and vacation requests, ensuring accurate pay.
Provide team members with vacation time at the beginning of year and address when they need to have time scheduled.
Sign and review timecards on a daily basis
Ensuring communication on any OT
Communication to supervisor if team member did not punch in.Communication to payroll about punches.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all control points, equipment and resources.
Monthly Safety Training

Follow up the R&D tests and to participate into products and processes development.

Approvals for all chemical and process steps
Beneficiary will directly manage and oversee 4-5 specialized employees who hold the title of Drum Operator. Responsible for safely operating the required number of drums and accurately processing hides through the wet blue process.They must safely manage many chemical processes designed to make our wet blue product the most consistent high quality product available today.Proper documentation must be maintained insuring an accurate process.The guidelines set forth by the company must be strictly adhered to and the safety aspects must be of a very high concern to the applying individual.A successful Process Supervisor must be able to pass a pulmonary function test to be respirator qualified.Due to the safety sensitivity of the position, random drug screening will be performed.
REQUIREMENTS:High School Graduate or GED equivalent required4 year degree BS or Technical Certificate in related field requiredEducation may be substitute for 12 years of Management experience in the Tannery Process industry, manufacturing or production environmentEOE/Vet/Disabled
