Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure): Clinical Open Rank - Behavioral Health Primary Care and Rural Medicine Location Bryan-College Station, TX Open Date 10/30/2024 Position ID 151518 Description The Department of Primary Care and Rural Medicine at the Texas A&M University College of Medicine invites applications for one (1) full-time Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) position with an 11-month academic appointment, renewable annually, with an anticipated start date in the spring of 2025. Applicants will be considered for the faculty rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor, depending on qualifications.Opportunitites are available to be part of a growing Integrated Behavioral Health Program that provides clinical training and service delivery to numerous health disciplines. The department includes an accredited family medicine residency program and multiple primary care clinics. Within the clinics there is training of medical students, family medicine residents, pre-doctoral psychology, pharmacy students and psychiatry residents. The applicant would be expected to lead clinical initiatives for a grant-funded project that includes development and implementation of integrated behavioral health service delivery via telehealth to mobile clinics throughout the state of Texas. Additionally, the applicant would be involved in in-person clinical service delivery, curriculum development, and clinical teaching of interdisciplinary team members, along with research intiatives including grant writing and clinical research. The applicant will collaborate with the Telehealth Institute and College of Nursing as needed on the activities above. Doctoral degree in clinical, counseling, or school psychology, or equivalent professional degree within behavioral health
Clinical experience in medical settings
Clinical experience with telehealth
Clinical teaching experience in behavioral health
Completion of an accredited program in your discipline
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
Board certified or board eligible in your discipline, if applicable
