The network includes more than 20 ambulatory clinics featuring primary care a freestanding Emergency Room Express Clinics and imaging and diagnostic services.ResponsibilitiesOur highly trained cardiac nurses provide specialized care for a variety of cardiac conditions including recovery from coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement surgery status post 24 hours ICU stay, heart failure, myocardial infarction, heart arrhythmias, and cardiac post-procedural care.
Caring for patients admitted to our heart and vascular unit
Collaborating with cardiologists, EKG techs, echo techs, and others
Monitoring and interpretation of patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms and communicate any changes indicating a more serious condition
You’ll be a trusted educator and resource for your patients’ recovery and prevention of reoccurring issues thanks to the care plans you develop and implement

Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year RN work in PCU, IMCU, and/or Telemetry with experience with cardiac drips
RN license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, NIH
