Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure): Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor Nursing Location Bryan, TX Open Date 4/5/2024 Position ID 136417 Description The School of Nursing at Texas A&M University is accepting applications for a part-time (non-tenure track) appointment to teach in our graduate and undergraduate programs in Bryan, Texas. The faculty position is a part-time non-tenure track position at the rank of Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor and is expected to have a 2.5-month summer or 4-month fall contract beginning as early as June 1, 2024. The School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Traditional, Second degree, and RN to BSN), MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner, MSN-Nursing Education, MSN-Forensic Nursing, DNP, graduate certificate in Forensic Health Care and PMHNP post-graduate certificate. Future plans include a PhD program and additional graduate and post-graduate certificate programs. We are a growing school within Texas A&M University with programs located in Bryan, Texas (primary location), Round Rock, Texas and a new campus location in McAllen is planned for Spring 2026.The School of Nursing is one of five schools that comprise the Texas A&M Health Science Center. Faculty serve the school and the profession and engage in scholarly activities.The anticipated start date is 06/01/2024.Qualifications Required Education:Earned doctorate (DNP or PhD) in nursing.
