Lead Maintenance Person needed on South Padre Island. Fully time work $38,000+ per year starting pay
South Padre Trips is a fast growing short term rental & property management company on South Padre Island. We are now hiring a FULL TIME lead maintenance person for our Company.
This is more or less acting as a full time handyman on a variety of condos and homes on the Island. You would need your own tools though we do not do heavy carpentry this is lots of misc easy jobs. Occasionally some light plumbing and such.
Must have experience of not less than 2 years to be considered. Work is full time, with either Tuesday and Wednesday off or Wednesday and Thursday off. Weekends are required
Starting pay is $38,400 per year with 42 hours per week required, then periodic performance reviews and raises. $35 per week is provided for gas as well. There isn’t much distance as Island is small. 2 weeks paid vacation is paid per year, as well as Christmas off.
Company shirts are provided though complete pants/shirts can be company provided if desired.
The good part of this job is the variety. The bad part is you have to be able to hustle and not get bored with somewhat small jobs a lot of the times. We are a fun organization but as we strive for 5 star reviews from our guests and owners.
