We are a fast-growing tech company looking for a skilled Linux/Server Computer Tech to join us in maintaining and optimizing our server infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our servers, implementing security measures, and providing technical support to our team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Linux-based servers, including installation, configuration, and monitoring.
Troubleshoot server and network issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Implement security measures to safeguard our servers and data.
Collaborate with our development and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Provide technical support to internal stakeholders, including troubleshooting user issues and offering guidance on best practices.
Requirements:
Solid experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python).
Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
