Our company is ServiceMaster Restoration by Empire, we deal with disaster restoration services and have jobs throughout the Rio Grande Valley. We respond to emergency damages for residential and commercial customers.
Water Damage Restoration Technician
Desired Skills:
- High level of integrity and commitment to the work
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in the restoration field and I.I.C.R.C. certification is a plus
- Bilingual (Read Write Speak) English & Spanish

Water Damage Restoration Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify the source of the problem and scope of the water damage
- Perform water extraction and pack-out of contents
- Remove and dispose of any non-salvageable materials that were affected by the water loss
- Perform light construction demo upon approval
- Set up air movers and/or dehumidifiers and monitor daily
- Perform hard surface cleaning

Job Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to work overtime hours as required
- Must be able to be on call for emergency jobs (nights & weekends on rotating Water Damage Restoration Technician schedule).
- Must consent to pre-employment screening including a drug test and a background check if offered a position with the company.
- Must be physically able to lift objects weighing 25-50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Input and check jobs utilizing our software online or by mobile phone
