Description Are you an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk seeking a new role? Then this employment opportunity offered through Robert Half may be for you. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Boerne, Texas area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Your responsibilities in this role
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Execute additional tasks as needed
Perform full-cycle A/P
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents Requirements - Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Deep understanding of journal entries
3 Way Matching experience preferred
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
High attention to detail
