We are seeking Chemical Plant Operators that have both operational and technical experience. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of strong safety and environmental performance. Examples of operational duties include; operating the DCS, issuing permits, sampling, troubleshooting, preparing equipment for maintenance and subsequent operation, and inspections.During your 12-hour shift as a Production Operator, you will
Assure standards of safety, environmental, team and individual performance are met in a high-performance team-based organization.
Perform Work Permitting process and prepare equipment for daily maintenance activities.
Train new employees on unit activities.
Utilize Microsoft Office software, Process Distributive Control Systems (DCS) and other computer software.
Work with potentially hazardous materials, at high elevations, in confined spaces, and outdoors in all types of weather.
Participate in emergency response teams.
If you have
A High School Diploma or GED or 3 years of operations experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
A valid driver's license (possess and maintain).
Experience that demonstrates strong behaviors in safety and environmental performance.
Experience with minor maintenance conducted by operations.
Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
