2 year / Associate Degree (Required)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Ten (10) or more years experience in refining, petrochemical or chemical role (Required)
Four (4) or more years supervisory/management experience required related experience (Preferred)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for unit operations
Responsible for longer-term capacity of their area, including working with Economics & Planning (E&P) to set MOP and production targets, unit optimizing, identifying capital project opportunities, and turnaround planning and execution
Provide escalation path for the shift team, and if needed manage, supervise, direct and lead the day-to-day activities of team within assigned area to ensure safe and quality production and meet identified goals
Assists Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) in setting maintenance priorities
Manages the process for developing, editing, approving, and certifying procedures
Working with the Technical Trainer, develops and tracks training and qualification materials and plans
Implements Operations Excellence initiatives for their units
