Clinical Pharmacist - EveningsTexas Health Bedford’s Pharmacy department is looking for a top skilled Pharmacist. Is that you?Work location: Texas Health HEB 1600 Hospital Parkway TX 76022Work hours: Full Time (40 hours) Evenings 2:30PM-11:00PM including every-other-weekend, one regular day off each weekPharmacy Department highlights:· Team based environment· Workplace culture 2 nd to none· Great benefits/ 401k / PTO· We operate on lean principles and rely heavily on a team atmosphere and individual performance· Highly engaged Pharmacy managementEducation· Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy required or· Other Pharm.D. required and· Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency requiredExperience· 3 years hospital experience or residency strongly preferredLicenses and Certifications· PHAR - Pharmacist upon hire requiredWhat You Will Do· Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.· Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.· Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.· Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required.· Ongoing professional development and growth.· Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.· Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.· Other duties as assigned.Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973.
