We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive lean manufacturing principles and optimize product life cycles. This role ensures seamless collaboration among departments to deliver high-quality products that meet customer specifications and company standards. The position requires hands-on management of product development projects, ensuring a smooth transition into high-volume manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the transition of new products from development to full-scale production.
Take ownership of tasks and ensure follow-through to completion with minimal direction.
Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production challenges.
Proactively identify process improvements to enhance manufacturability and efficiency.
Conduct DFx analysis and collaborate with leadership to optimize product designs.
Manage cross-functional teams to establish design, technology, and vendor strategies.
Oversee first article fabrication of weldments, control panels, and sheet metal components.
Maintain libraries for product specifications, manuals, drawings, and work instructions.
Train Assembly Technicians on lean manufacturing principles.
Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
Take initiative to ask questions, seek clarity, and drive solutions proactively.
Ensure strong communication, follow-up, and follow-through on all assigned tasks.
Identify and resolve operational issues between business functions and production.
Plan and define scope, activities, and resources for new R&D projects.
Support CAD drawing reviews for machining, welding, coating, and assembly.

Sound knowledge of manufacturing operations, product lifecycle management, and design change management.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with MRP Software
Proficiency in Excel Macros for data analysis and automation
PMP Certification
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred: At least 3 years in product development within the manufacturing industry.
