Energy One is a leading provider of energy efficient windows and patio doors. Our Installation Supervisor provides customer service to our customers and oversees the production, installation, and warranty process. This position is provided a company truck and credit card to be used for business related purposes only.
This position will be responsible for leading the production and installation process from required scheduling, confirmation of product information, and overseeing installation and services required for our products. The Installation Manager will ensure that all contractors of the company have the correct licensing and insurance on file, are following state and company standards for the installation of our products, evaluate any services for required materials and handle services as needed.
This position is also required to oversee and order any warranty service parts and respond to and evaluate warranty requests as required. While our office is in the Round Rock, TX area, work will be performed in and around the Austin, TX metroplex. This position will be required to go to job sites and perform small services, as well as manage the warehouse.
Essential Functions:
Knowledgeable of all product specs and installation procedures.
Ensures that installation crews are wearing proper uniform shirts and keeping up with a profession and presentable appearance.
Hire, train and provide continuous management oversight over installation crew members.
Review all new sales contracts for manufacture and or code limitations as applicable. Review after Project Manager
Assign new contracts to installers in a fair and balanced way so as not to show favoritism or overwhelm in any way.
Work with customers and installers to schedule all re-measures, installations and service repairs in a timely fashion. Currently, but will transfer to PM when trained.
Assemble orders based on sales contract and field work orders to provide to manufacturer. Review after completed by PM before submittal
Ensure all installation crews are adhering to Energy One standards of conduct and cleanliness in the home.
Place reminder and follow up phone calls with customers as outlined in the Project Manager Log and E-Unify. Project Manager.
Assist customer with any potential arising questions relating to product specs or installation procedures.
Check to make sure that the installation crew has placed an Energy One sign in the yard of the customer.
Review invoices turned in by installers and manufacturers for accurate pricing.
Ensure timely receipt of materials from the manufacturer and a quick turnaround time for scheduling installation or service repairs.
Assist sales staff with product and installation training as needed.
Work with the office manager to provide status updates of installation and service jobs as well as assisting to determine which manufacturer invoices are approved for payment.
Leadership and management of all aspects of installation from production to customer.
Ensure that all products are properly installed and that the finished product meets the requirements of the customer.
Communicate with customers, Energy One Windows of Las Vegas, Nevada, LLC personnel, suppliers, and other vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow all established safety policies and procedures.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high stress and/or pressure.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Other duties may be reasonably assigned.
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or GED required.
·4+ years of previous experience in carpentry and repairs, installation of windows, finish carpentry, insulation and weather stripping, overhead doors, or drywall.
·Previous experience supervising remodeling contractors.
·Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as well as communicate effectively in a team environment.
